Sarah Palin and scary17 Oct 2008 03:09 pm

In order to clarify comments GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin made last night at a Greensboro, N.C., fundraiser about it being in a “pro-America” area, the campaign issued a slightly more detailed version of the pool report that came out yesterday.

From the Washington Post’s Juliet Eilperin

This is the “pro-america” area where reporter Joe Killian got assaulted.

I would like to know what areas of the world you consider “pro-america”.

I would define a “pro-America area” as any area where free speech is encouraged. Where new ideas are welcome, if not embraced. Where mutual respect is at least the ideal, if not the reality. Where civil discussion does not lead to violence. If that definition is valid, it is clear that Palin did not speak in a “pro-America area.”

I live in an amateur America area. We need two more angry mobs and some blue laws before we can go pro.
