   You can’t find a sales clerk at Macy’s. That’s probably why Ms. Palin upgraded to Neiman Marcus.

   Answering Haid: yes, there are supposed to be handlers to deal with those details. I think it’s clear that she has difficulty staying on script. A string of jackasses around her neck is a poetic encapsulation of her shortcomings.
